A little boy found a little girl

The earth asound with sleep;
Slopes they sit on steep,
Over the valleys deep
While the deserts weep.

'Follow me,' he said;
'Weep not for the past,
In my palace deep
Panda lies asleep.'

With feet of weary woe;
She could no further go,
So among shadows maze
Desert stars they trace.

Frowning night, frowning night;
Over the desert bright,
Let the stars voice
While he makes the choice.

'I must go,' he said;
'To the lion's growl,
And among the tigers wild
In a lonely dell with a wolvish howl.'

If her heart does ache;
But she must wait,
If he returns safe
Find her in pluto cave.
